maniac cop at a later date. also mad about them now releasing dark night of the scarecrow, especially since it has some extra features that the dvd doesn't have.

september is far worse for horror though. blood trilogy and basket case .

I'm going to wait for reviews but The Others could be a pretty tempting Sept release.

Kuroenko is probably the only Oct release I'd really want for Halloween (which will be maddening considering the Barnes and Noble Criterion sale will be so soon after).

i've never seen The Bad Seed but it looks good, not much interest in the others

I've never seen Island of Lost Souls so I may check that out.

I have seen Kuroneko (Masters of Cinema UK DVD) but I didn't think it was that great.

Unfortunately, Echo Bridge has the rights and I can bet you it will be equal or worse than the Alliance version from Canada.

Yeas, I remember reading from a thread here that they had acquired the rights. I don't have high hopes for the release to be honest, but I really do want it. One of my favorite flicks.

Just buy the Canadian Alliance version.
