core psp slim(black) release date?

I have contacted every electronics retailer i can think of, as well as every website and everyone is telling me a different release date. I've been told sept 19,oct 1, oct 5, oct 9, all from different retailers. can anyone tell me the actual release date for the core psp slim. btw the white darth vader psp is up for preorder on bestbuy.com for oct 9(but i'm not interested in that one).

the Silver Daxter pack is already out and the piano black PSP slim is already out but I think the only place selling them is Target, thats what I understood from the PSP forums on the top anyways... *shrugs*

i live in canada so that doesn't help because we don't have Target here. i checked Target's website and i couldn't find it there

Wal-mart and Best buy sell the silver bundle pack....and dude the MSPD is worth the extra thirty it's self. Silver is also more pristine and doesn't show finger prints...

i know the silver bundle has been available sine the beginning of september, and i appreciate the opinions guys, but does anyone know when the core psp slim is going to be released in north america

hmmm, i havent heard anything on the Canada front. We've had em here at our Target's here in the States for a couple weeks now, like the others have said.

i'll ask around to some canadian friends and let you know if i here anything.

I just bought my PSP Core Piano Black Slim system today at frys, nice price of 169.99 and 19.99 for the Component cables (which work great other then games not being full screen). Very happy with it.
