Blu ray player not working - Blu-ray Forum

It's been 2 months since I've used it and now whenever i play a blu ray the movie stutters. I'm not sure what the technical term is but the scenes are skippy.

Is it because i havent used it in 2 months? Is the blu ray a defect?

I'm trying to watch the karate kid (not the will smith version) if that helps

Is this a blu-ray drive or a blu-ray stand alone player? Can you specify please? Thanks.

It is an external blu ray player for my laptop
