I'll not be double dipping as I imported the original release earlier this year,it is a great film, one that I hadn't seen in years but it still was very enjoyable.

The big question is... will all the current extras be carried over? Or will we need both versions?

I'll be interested to know if Olive did a new (better) encode over the previous Lionsgate release.

The previous Blu looks great and has a fine selection of suppliments. And what was wrong with Lewis Teague's previous commentary? Unless they add some of the deleted scenes that Teague discussed in his commentary, there's no reason to double dip. Nice that they used the theatrical poster art, though.

It's similar to the theatrical poster art. But I don't think that's a reason to double dip.

I'll stick to my current Blu unless this is a new transfer.

I will only pick this one up if there are reports of a new transfer. The first BD version can be improved on, if only for a more recent scan of the film elements.

I should look around for the release that's available.

Walmart used to have it cheap but I don't think they still have it.

Did the first blu-ray release make enough money to justify releasing this again? Where is PHASE IV on blu?

I don't see why you'd be glad. The older release still sounds like the better overall release. It has superior extras and the PQ is quite good. And it'll be cheaper to boot.

Finally....a cover-art that looks GOOD! I've HATED the previous cover art.

But unless it's a new transfer, I'll stick with the crappy-looking cover.
