The way they worded this it sounded like they were also releasing hd-dvd recorders too, but they are not.

Indeed. I use Google news for the latest stuff on BD and this came up today.

If you Google News HD-DVD, it's about Toshiba putting more HD-DVD drives on laptop. I'm so verklempt!
