Default F4 Silver Surfer Blu-ray found at Wal*Mart

Looks like we had a few laughs the past 24 hours with the Warner deal. Funny HaHa not funny hoho...

The good news is we (blu) will be watching F4 Silver Surfer on Blu Ray while HD-DUD will be sitting on the sidelines.

I just wanted to share with everyone what I found at Wally World today. Low and behold 6 copies of F4 Silver Surfer. Along with the 6 copies of Blades of Glory on HD-DUD that have not moved since tehy were put in the rack.

The wife and I will be enjoying watching it when she gets home tonight.

I tried uploading pics but it looks like the minimum resolution on the camera is too big to post. I will work on it and get soem pics posted.

Sweet I should get mine on Monday since the place I order from ships them on Friday ha ha ha. I actually had my copy of the Getaway 1994 on last Saturday and then Underworld on Monday I was like kick ass before release date!! I also cant wait to watch Top Gun as well next week!! Oh yeah actually that will have to wait til Saturday since I'm going to have to crank my surround sound on that one ha ha ha!!

BTW What state are you in since when I was at walmart before the Condemed came out and they had it on the shelf already on Blu Ray.

Mischa.

How mutch was Wal*Mart selling it for? I plan on buying this movie at Wal*Mart or Target as I'm sure they will be cheaper then Best Buy and Circuit City.

Great news! I'll check my Walmart's tonight, and if I'm lucky, I'll cancel my Amazon preorder when I get home!

It was around 29. I think Amazon had it for aorund 27. I planned on buying it there to start showing support locally so they get the hint. A few extra bucks for about 5 days early isnt bad either.

Hmm, I was hoping Wal-Mart would carry it for 26.99 or so. Now it will be a toss-up between Hastings and Wal-Mart, whichever is cheapest.

Off topic: Top Gun on DVD? 'cuz that's from Paramount.

It's nice to see that Fox has pre-encode the movie with D-Box code.

They have a deal with them. It's not something I see taking off.

Master and Commander should cause runs on barf bags alone

D-Box is never going to be widespread. BUT the controllers are backward compatible. And you can also buy just the motion controller and attach it to your current sofa set (ix nay on the toilet).

Believe it or not, the company has already encoded 123 BD titles. None for HD-DVD.

I know. It's still too expensive and gimmicky for most people to bother

Your in FT Myers I'm in Naples ha ha ha. Another one from the area. There is someone else who is in the area. Do you usually buy your Blu-Ray's around town or do you order them online?
Mischa.
