Sony 46HX929 Lag time - Blu-ray Forum

I was wondering about the gaming input lag on the Sony 46HX929. I looked all over the AVSForum and there so many different results. However, I see that 30ms is the average. I keep seeing that time is not recommended for video games. I play the playstation 3 and I am a rapid online multiplayer fan of Uncharted 2 and soon with Uncharted 3 on its way. At the moment, I play Infamous 2 and Resistance 3.

I am bit concerned as I have ordered this set. I am dreading the moment it arrives and see what happens. Anybody have the experience with this TV and video games?

My cousin has this set and he games on it all the time; mostly FPS's like Bfbc2 and Resistance 3, I haven't seen any noticeable lag while playing with him so I wouldn't be worried.

In my opinion for an LCD, 30ms input lag isn't that bad at all. It's quite favourable compared to other televisions as far as I'm aware.

I guess I will have my results when I get the TV. I am upgrading from 26" Vizio LCD 1080i TV. I am assume that is not CRT. I had not experienced any lag on that TV.
