Masters of Horror @ WalMart

So tonight I had to pick up a few things at the local WallyWorld and thought I'd check on the High Def section again, which has gotten smaller and smaller...
To my surprise they updated with a few new titles like Reign Over Me, Surf's Up, Dracula, 28 Weeks Later... and also Masters Of Horror Volume 1 and Volume 2!




Price tag is $18.96 each

I also picked those up along with halloween. I always get my BD's from wal-mart right after midnight every tuesday(I hate the crowds) and their prices are similar to amazon on some titles.

I'm noticing the same thing at my Wal-Mart. The selection is getting smaller and smaller. I think they are getting new releases in and they stay in the store for 2 weeks. After the two weeks, they send them back to the warehouse or to bigger stores. However, they always receive copies of POTC 1 & 2 and Casino Royale each week. They are keeping the big sellers in stock but they are rotating new releases.

Same here, I notice that they carry few older titles and have about 5 of a number for a while and then suddenly they're all gone, but therefore the new ones are out. Masters of Horror, there was only 1 each of Volume 1 and Volume 2 left after I took mine. Dracula only 1, but the case and insert were messed up, 28 Weeks had about 10...

If I am right Masters of Horror is not supposed to be released until next week?

Ahh, although only 1080i at that price I had to get them (paid like $12 a piece for the individual ones on DVD)

Starting next week, you should see an entire endcap devoted to HDM... 35 BD and 21 HD-DVD. This will happen in the majority of WM's on the 15th/16th. IF your local WM has 2 music endcaps at the front of electronics, one for "New Release" and the other "Best Sellers" look for the latter to change to "High Definition Movies" next week...
