In a way, I'm chuffed about this as I had been considering getting the US or German release of Never Sleep Again (as well as I Am Nancy) sometime during the lead-up to the end of October. Glad to see it's getting a UK release.

It was that long ago. I was disappointed with it as it was basically a upscaled DVD bootleg of the US version with some youtube stuff added. I will be picking up a proper version if not too expensive. It will go with the book version I have.

Is that like a digibook blu or an actual book book, like the epic Crystal Lake Memories book by Peter Bracke?

Interesting that it's rated 18 when the DVD was released as exempt, I always thought that was weird though

That's awesome! Thanks for the head's up - I had no idea it even existed. Pity it appears to be out of print now.

One more question: Does it just cover the first film, or the entire series?

The first one, 340 pages and black and white photo's. The much bigger original hardback has colour photo's. I had a look on ebay, wow the prices.

Hopefully this has all the extra bumpf from the DVD version, the 101 Crystal Lake disc didn't port any of the extra stuff over.

To be fair, the 'extra stuff' on the US Crystal Lake Memories was a limited edition bonus disc only ever available to those who bought it directly from the producers website.

Yes, it would have been great if 101 had included it, but otherwise it was identical to the regular US release.

Going by the specs on the Amazon page, it looks like all the Never Sleep Again extras are on there:

I wonder if this release will be 2 discs (has 1 disc on the webpage) considering all the extras was on disc 2 of the US release. I really want this UK release to be better than the German bootleg blu ray. Is it even a blu ray case in the pic?
