3. Pulp Fiction
4. Taxi Driver
5. Ben Hur

I own the bolded ones

Honourable Mentions:

Jurassic Park Trilogy
- Obviously not out yet, but I'm betting it will knock Ben-Hur off my list!

Nirvana: Live at the Paramount
- As the only Nirvana concert shot on film, it was only a matter of time before this one would finally make it's way to blu-ray. Great performance, unfortunately I hear the audio slips in and out of sync throughout the concert.

Lord of the Rings: Extended Editions
- I'm not a fan of the LOTR films, but this release stands out of one of the bigger sets of the year (alongside Star Wars)... so I suppose it's only fair for me to include it.

Taxi Driver (release of the year, hands down - great film, breathtaking transfer, great packaging/extras and all for thirteen bucks - just send Sony the trophy now)
Star Wars Saga (haven't gotten it yet but I feel pretty safe out on this limb)
Citizen Kane UCE (a little overpriced but a great release of a great film)
Sweet Smell of Success (in a way this is just a placeholder for Criterions in general - they've had a great year)
Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Collection (not only do I love these movies but a quality release like this bodes very well for things like The Thin Man or The Marx Brothers or any number of mid-to-low prority catalog series)

Citizen Kane

I was very close to adding that one as well. It's pretty no-frills but it's a very nice release nonetheless.

Taxi Driver
The Lord of the Rings Extended Trilogy
Memento (10th Anniversary Edition)
Once Upon a Time in the West
Papillon
The Ten Commandments
Sweet Smell of Success
The Outlaw Josey Wales
King of Kings
The Bible: In the Beginning
Star Wars
The Blues Brothers
Black Swan
Thelma & Louise

I can't believe I don't have Ben-Hur yet. The reason, though, is being completely out of blu-ray dollars (not good for the holidays ). I already know it'd be near the top of the list, but I won't add it if I haven't had a thorough viewing of it myself.

In no particular order

Pale Flower

I am sure those will be in my top 5 at the end of the year and I would add DRIVE if it is released in 2011.

These are my favorites so far, in no particular order:

Star Wars Saga
Sucker Punch
Paul
The Incredibles
Tangled

I haven't picked up The Lord of the Rings EE yet, but it's on my wishlist. I'll probably wait until Black Friday for a good deal, then I'll have to bump something off my list.
