Default 52 Flick Up

Hi,

I'm looking to start a project for next year and would like the help of the good folks here at blu-ray.com.

The premise is simple, watch 1 film a week for all of 2012 or as I call it "52 Flick Up".

I plan to set up a blog and review the films as well as research each films history and present that as well. I want to make it interactive so people can also comment on the films with their thoughts and experiences. I'll list all the films in advance so people can be ready to participate each week. If I can find some other like minded people to commit to the 52, maybe offer differing reviews and opinions in the main blog in addition to the talkback.

What I need now though, is a collection of 52 films.

So I'm looking for your suggestions. The only rules are the films have to be available on either DVD or Blu-ray to rent or buy. Other than that, there's no restrictions (no porn ). A few reasons as to why you think the film should be included would also help for when I'm formulating the final list.

I'd like to include a range of films from modern to classic, domestic to international, live action to animated/anime. The bigger the range the better.

This should be a lot of fun and rewarding experiencing new films and discussing them with other film fans.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
