Default 3D performance of Vizio XVT3D554SV series??

I just bought this model TV this week and I absolutely love it... Still getting all the brightness and color settings worked out to my taste of course. But Im highly impressed with the TV overall. Although it is a 3D TV, I didn't buy it for that, I got it because I wanted LCD with the 240Hz refresh rate.

I have not dropped the money on any 3D glasses for this set yet and I'm not sure if I will or not. ($125 each list price, but I can get a set of 2 on eBay for $60).

Does anybody else have the XVT 3D series from Vizio who can tell me how they rate in 3D performance?? Is it worth the cost? (glasses and movies)

Also, I understand that I would actually have to buy the "3D Version" of the movie I want to watch as well??

If so, do the 3D version Blu-Rays included the standard 2D version as well? or do you have to buy that seperate?
