Default Dreamworks 3d Best Buy Exclusives a bust?

Went to purchase these (Monsters vs Aliens, Megamind, and How to Train Your Dragon) until I noticed they are film only no extras not even the ones on DVD release, I have HTTYD i got off ebay with glasses purchase and my tv and player came with the set that has Monsters Vs Aliens. So my question is why did they not release them with the features? Any in the know posters please explain or if could pass on the question as I refuse to rebuy something unless it imcludes the extras .

The studios are doing their best to screw over early adopters of 3D Blu-ray just like they did with standard Blu-ray.

I think it goes something like this for DWA strategy:
Make bank on theatrical release.
Make bank from Samsung for exclusivity window over the first year of BD3D/first months of release.
Make bank from Best Buy for exclusivity window over the second year of BD3D.

And then make bank from a mass market release when passive 3D is full hd (more than 1080i, the current benchmark being claimed), and people have been buying tv's/bluray players for a couple years that had the 3D option whether they wanted it or not. The only way that they will be able to count on making the final bank amount is if they have enough extra content to load the release up with features so that people that already got the Samsung or BBY exclusives will dip again. That is probably the first we will see Bone-Knapper Dragon and Button of Doom in 3D.

So, the release is a bust if you have the Samsung exlusives- but a lot of people do not have them, so now early adopters that want more content, can go into BBY and pick up 2 fun titles and really fun title (HTTYD).

Depending on your perspective it is either win-win-win, or screw-screw-screw. I was hoping for a more robust BBY exclusive, but I'll take what I got and see what comes down the road in a year. In the meantime, I ditched the dvd copies from my all 6 combo packs and have a 3Dbd packed with a 2D bd that has all the features. The DWA 2D titles were on sale for $14 for a while last year. The dvd copies inside sell for $5-$6 on their own, so that made it all, pretty ok by me.
Incidentally, these CGI films fair moderately better than most content in 2D-->3D conversion mode, if you want to see an approximation of what Bone-Knapper would be like in a year or two.
