Just pre-ordered with Amazon - no release day delivery on this, estimated delivery is 10/01.

I was planning on seeing this at the cinema yesterday, but missed my slot so buckled and ordered the US disc for £14. Would have watched it on Curzon on demand but it was only £4 more.

Decent film. No masterpiece but very propulsive filmmaking. Feels fresh, the acting feels grounded, and it doesn't compromise. 0PN's score is excellent too!

Favourite film of the year, shame it's got such a limited release (and Curzon Home Cinema is ridiculously expensive).

My copy should arrive Wednesday according to Amazon so I'll update this thread then unless someone else does.

Quite why there is no release day delivery available for this is a mystery although there have been quite a few like that recently.

Saw a DVD copy of this in HMV today (no blu-ray's weirdly, my Amazon pre-order is also not due until Weds, maybe a slight stock delay?) and the features listed included a Cast & Filmmakers Commentary, Interview with the Safdies and, if I remember correctly (which I might not be!), deleted scenes and a featurette. The DVD also had a slip so I'm hoping the blu follows suit!

Same deal with me. Went into the liverpool hmv and asked if they had any in the back and the girl told me they're still awaiting the order but couldn't give me a date estimate

There appears to be quite a few like this recently 'The Florida Project' is one example - release is the 5th March but Amazon have delivery as the 7th - again no release day delivery available.

I saw the DVD and asked about the Blu-ray and was told it hadn't come in yet. Also hope there's a slip

Arrow's DVD release of The Villainess had a slip, but I couldn't see any Blu-ray copies with one, so hope this isn't similar to that

I have that with all the niche studios whether AE, BFI, Arrow or Indicator. Despite having Prime, Amazon only quote me a Wednesday delivery on pre-orders.

What is annoying is at least on some of these studios Amazon can deliver to some customers on Sunday so a day early. It does really seem to be dependent upon where you live and when they get stock.

I know with Indicator they almost always get stock late and HMV also struggle with their deliveries from them as well.

Wouldn't be surprised if this is a no-show now on BD.

Believe it will be available to stream on Netflix (at least here in UK) from 11/1.

It's not going to be a no-show if it's due out this week. It's obviously just late getting out from the distributor, as seems to be the case fairly often lately.

Picked this up at HMV with slip, for those interested. It wasn't on display but I asked at the counter and they said they had it. Apparently the delivery had only just come in so they grabbed it for me from out back.

Saw this in hmv today. I don’t think deleted scenes were listed on the back, but could be misremembering.
