Exclamation Deadpool - Teaser Trailer (From the "Transformers: Fall of Cybertron" guys!)

http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/07/...ounced-trailer

Quote:
Finally. After laser eyes in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and a great guest spot in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Deadpool is getting his own video game. Simply titled Deadpool, the game is being developed by High Moon Studios, the folks behind Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and arriving in 2013. Specific platforms were not announced. We have the trailer below, and although it wasn't mention specifically in the Comic-Con panel revealing the game, the voice of the Merc with a Mouth appears to be Nolan North, who is famous for being Nathan Drake in Uncharted but also played Deadpool in Shattered Dimensions.

that was awesome! I can't wait. the humor alone will be worth it, but with High Moon and Nolan North you know it will be great.

Seriously though, this is going to be something. Imagine Max Payne (if they tackle the serious side of DP's twisted mind) with 100 gallons of dark humor poured in. Could be amazing.

Deadpool was one of my favorite characters to use in Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Funny trailer.

I hate the character. One of the worst that Marvel has been pushing in recent years. I guess great for his fans. Saw Psylocke in there so Im wondering if X-force will be featured

What? Deadpool isn't new! 21 years is a long time yeah it's no spiderman or superman but it isn't like they cooked him up in 2000.

You seemed to imply they were forcing him on people as if he were new and were trying to up the appeal, when id say they've done the opposite. He's been in what two episodes of x men the animated series as a flashback, hulk vs wolvie, two appearances in ultimate alliance games and a boss battle in SD (which I wasn't aware of until this thread)

Correct me if I've inferred what you wrte wrongly.

No thats just you assuming something that was never stated. There was no implications of him being new on my part. Me saying Marvel has been giving him a push in recent years doesnt = new character. Its a fact and they HAVE been giving him a major push. He wasnt as overexposed (or much at all) and being pushed to the mainstream back in the 90s. Its only been in the last 5 years or so that he's been utilized as much as he has, both within the books and outside media. My god, there was a time where he had like 5 books coming a month. It was like 2-3 ongoings and then a constant stream of minis and oneshots revolving around him and spinoff characters, Lady Deadpool, Kidpool, Headpool and Dogpool. It got pretty ridiculous till they realized he was being oversaturated and not selling the Wolverine and Spider-Man numbers
