the star wars trilogy's or Lord of the rings will be released before the end of 2008 on blu ray. if they are released before the end of 2008 and you only had enough money to buy on choice, which would it be??

i'd be happy to see them, but honestly i've never owned star wars or lotr on any format. i may for blu though. i just may.

I don't think there's any chance of us seeing either in 2008. MAYBE LOTR in 2009 if they can get it going.

sorry if you dont like, but its just a fun poll to find out what others would like. its not written in stone or something that is life changing. a simple poll to have some fun with fellow supports for theses movies that some of us would love to have on blu. thats all... no big deal and please dont read into it more that that

i love how an option is "both cuz im rich"... btw it'll prolly cost about 120 for all 6 movies which i think is a pretty damn good deal

I believe Bill Hunt made a reference to the LOTR trilogy over in his sticky thread and said that LOTR will not be out this year. As far as Star Wars, dont expect that set until 2010 at the earliest. Bluray doesnt have a big enough install base for Lucas to make a big enough profit on the movies. He will wait until HD-DUD is completely gone and no one remembers its name before releasing these to the market. Just my thoughts on things

And I don't understand this poll - why ask if I could only buy one, which one would I buy and then put an option to buy both?

I voted star wars as I want it more than LOTR, but I will be buying both
