Default E-bay question

Don't know where else to put this. I have a problem with a seller on E-bay and I'm not sure what to do about it. I know e-bay generally sides with buyers so I'm a little worried. I'm afraid I'm going to get swindled out of they money he promised to pay (and did pay, a month ago).

The facts:
Sold Avatar 3D blu-ray disc new/sealed.

Mailed it out 9/9

Today I got an e-mail from the buyer:

Quote:
I bought the 3d avatar blueray dvd from you. It dosen't play in 3d mode. The picture freezes on every chapter and is broken up, I think because when reading the disk it only reads 25 hertz. I would like to send it back for a refund. Thank you R***.

This item is practically worthless if it isn't sealed. Wonder if I can get a new disc somehow? Also it could be that he's got equipment problems on his end. Not sure how all the 3D stuff works.

What did you specify on the return section of your listing? No Refunds? Then he's out of luck.

Try to troubleshoot it with him anyway. How much was the selling price?

The fact that he spelled it "blueray" - casts doubts as to him knowing what the hell he's doing.

Sounds like the buyer is having equipment issues. You can try to work with him about sending it back and then you do a partial refund.

On your sale do you list all sales as final? If so your covered.

Good Luck

Here's the exact text of my listing. I didn't say "all sales are final"

Quote:
You are bidding on a brand new, sealed, mint condition copy of Avatar 3D on Blu-ray Disc- a Panasonic Exclusive. You cannot buy this 3D version in stores- which is why it's hard to get. Bid with confidence. This is a new, sealed copy, never watched, and I'll ship it to you fast in a padded envelope.

Sorry to hear about your problems. In the future I would be sure to state that all sales are final, but I know that doesn't help you now. If you let him return it and it works for you, then you could probably still sell it pretty easily on the trading forum here, which is what I would recommend anyway. If you do let him return it to you, I would also be sure to specify that the case and slipcover (was a slipcover included?) must still be in new condition or no refund will be issued. I would also not cover shipping costs for him returning it.
