Default new blu-ray player advice needed

Hey guys, I'm looking to get w new blu-ray player. It needs to be 3d capable. Other than the oppo 93, what do you guys suggest? I have the marantz sr7005 receiver so I'm thinking the marantz ud5005 would look great on my rack with it. What are some thoughts?
Thanks

My choice would be either the Sony S570 if you can still find them or its replacement the S580.

I'd like info on the Marantz UD5005, too. Thinking of getting one.

Anyone out there have it? Not much out for reviews.

Thinking about Sony BDP-S770 as well.

This is my first post, and I am currently looking to invest in my first new Blu-ray player now that prices have come down and I can get excellent value for a player and discs. Also, I have read most of the "Help me pick a blu-ray player" thread, so please don't respond telling me to go re-read it.

I have narrowed my choices to these 3 players: PS3, Sony BDP-S570/580, and the Panasonic BD-65. I am looking for a player that operates as intended, has quick disc reading capabilities (size and weight are not really an issue because all players are more or less very similar), and has wireless capability. In addition, I am looking to get excellent value for the price that I am paying (this is why I won't purchase the Oppo). Also, streaming media from sites such as Netflix is not an absolute need whatsoever.

I am leaning towards the PS3 because many people are happy with the output it delivers (fast loading and reading, region free, PSN hacking brings great value to purchase one right now, etc.), but I am also hesitant at the moment because of the recent PSN hacking (leaving your CC# online at the time of the hacking, for example) and the fact that next-gen consoles that will also have blu-ray capability are right around the corner.

Irrelevant from the player discussion, I will be looking to upgrade my LCD (37" LG that was a value purchase) and speakers (pair of 3 ft Cerwin Vega Re speakers mainly for playing rap music) later on when I have excess funds after purchasing the player.

Thoughts/reactions towards any of the 3 players mentioned?

I am breaking into the 3D craze, and I went with the Panasonic DMP-BDT210P for my 3D needs, and as a bonus, I can send in a rebate form for Avatar 3D free

I was looking at the S580. What is the major difference(s) between the S570 and S580.

Because the S570 is an older version from what I understand, so I bet I could find a goo deal on one.

After the hour mark it starts to skip. Sending it back on Monday to get a software upgrade, not a firmware issue. But PQ is a better than old fat 80GB PS3 and AQ is much, much better.

You do get excellent value for the price you are paying with the Oppo's, that's one reason why they are so popular. They out perform some players that cost 6 times the amount, plus they should last many more years than most average blu-ray players from the major electronic companies (Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic etc) due to their higher quality build. It's your choice not to buy an Oppo if you think they are too expensive, what you purchase with your money is your business, but your statement that I highlighted is inaccurate because the Oppo's have certainly been proven to be great value for money.
