Disney and the DVD Forum

During all DVD forums steering commitee meetings, Disney and all BD supporters usually do not express their votes when it comes to subjects that are playing in favor of HD-DVD. This is the rule for months, like during September meeting when CH-DVD format was ratified for the Chinese market (and even there, Sony position was stronger as Sony voted against this).

In the last meeting held earlier this week, one subject was the ratification of the 3 layers HD-DVD media (51GB). As usual all BD supportes didn't vote, except, for the very first time, Disney who has approved the format.

Does anyone here knows about the reason of this change in Disney attitude?
