Black Gold (Or Noir) US release??

I have been wanting to see this film, ever since I saw the trailer a while back. I know there are 3 countries that have it...France having the nice steelbook.
I really think I'm going to invest in a region free BD player, just to import that French Steelbook. Now I know this movie is not on the level of, say, Lawrence of Arabia...but it does look pretty good.
If anyone has any info on this, or about a possible US release...please let me know!

Only info I can find which is not good news, is that the BR release in France (which would play fine in my country, Australia) has 'forced' French Subtitles over the English 5.1 Soundtrack!

Very strange?

I'm attempting to find out if the German BR release also has this forced subtitle happening.

As I said I'd love to get the French SB, but I would need a region-free player. Ditto on the German as they are both RegionB.

I'm hoping that with the release of LoA, the US might want to pick this up and release at the same time. Kind a longshot, but maybe some of the LoA fans would see this and give it a try. Probably won't happen, but it's nice to think about!
