Default The Final Destination - Thoughts

This is a blah movie. I love the other Final Destination movies; I own the original on Blu, and the 2nd and 3rd on DVD. I never saw this during it's theater run, but I blind bought it since I like the others so much.

HUGE MISTAKE

This movie is terrible! I didn't watch the 3D version (cause I hate those glasses) so I can't comment on that. But the characters in this movie...I never came to care about them like in the previous movies. It was like they plucked the actors right out of the nearest Hollister and asked them to make this movie. The deaths were okay, but I didn't like concept of the main character seeing random objects put together to tell who was next. It was cheesy, and obviously catered to the 3D.

All in all, the movie was 2/5, and the PQ 4/5.

Agreed. Short of the escalator scene, I had zero fun watching this mess.

I didn't think it was that bad. I saw the others, but mostly the first I've seen multiple times. I really liked the pool scene though, when he got stuck in the drain lol

I liked it. The series is better as stand alone movies that why I like them in this order-1,3,4,2.

The second is really your least favorite? You are entitled to your opinion, but may i ask why that is your least favorite. I think just the fist 15 minutes of the second are better then 3 and 4 together. I would go 2,1,3,4, but hey different strokes right.

I felt that the FD 2 would have been better without having Clear River arc, to me seemed tact on. I really didn't really feel for that character's except Clear and that was only cause she was in the first FD.

I liked the last two but really enjoyed the first two as they actually had a deep story to them. Second two just seem to be there to show how "creative" death scenes can be.

Very bad movie, didn't like how it was shot and the audio was okay.

I like them all individually for what they are. I did feel like the fourth one was cheesier than the others. The acting was the worst so far IMO.

I hope there won't be a 5th movie. I know they said it's THE final destination (hence the title) but you never know...

I liked it and thought it fit well with the others. If you take them for what they are, they're fun movies and I thought the 4th was more of the same. I like seeing what they come up with for not so random events to cause the various "accidents". I watched the 2D version since I just can't take the 3D at home.

The Final Destination was exactly what I expected it to be. The series gave up on having a plot after the first movie to just focus on deaths. I didn't mind the movie, it was a decent 80 minutes, but I don't really have any desire to see it again.

I go with the idea that TFD was a spin off, which is why it wasn't called FD4, but at the last moment, after all prints of the film were sent, they thought "lets just call it a sequel, and say that we called it THE to signify it was the last" and everyone was like "YEAH!"

As a stand alone film (like if it WERE a spin off, which i still think it is!) its a GREAT film. as part of the pentrillogy, its... out of place.

Look, i run very strongly with my spin-off conspiracy. Think about it, if FD5 was called FD4, and they admitted TFD was meant to be a spin off, the FD quadrillogy would be the BEST horror series EVER! Heres my conspiracy: as i said, this movie was going to be a straight to 3D blu-ray spin-off, but at the last moment, they were like "this is good enough to be in cinemas because its 3D... just tell everyone you called it "THE final destination" because it was meant to be the last...".

I am not sure why they bother to continue this franchise with a fan film. It's grose.

I haven't seen 2,3, or 5. I liked the first one enough, so I picked this up because it was 3D, and yes, I'm starving for 3D. Movie.. not so good, 3D, great. ^_^
