Now if only they signed stuff for free

Honestly, i hate it when they seem to charge a ludicrous amount like that but thats what ya get when your Stan Lee and didn't get a % cut of the movie grosses. I wanna get my steelbooks signed by i want to wait till i get an opportunity to do so myself. Man, i'm turning into a full tilt nerd .

I understand completely. Just do it soon. I saw a copy of Thor sell for over 500 I think on eBay with his signature

Too bad I don't own any steels for the Marvel films, but I did manage to get my lenticular cover of the Incredible Hulk bluray signed by him as well as my Incredible Hulk #3 original comic, for free I might add. He did a signing at a video game booth last year and wasn't asking for money.

My friends got PO'd when Leonard Nimoy was charging $80 to take a picture with him, have it printed right there, and signed by him which I didn't think was too bad. Some of the celebrities are not millionaires such as Nimoy. Some of these people need the extra money, it's their livelihood. I think they should charge like $5 or $10, not $50+.

Stan Lee used to sign for free TTM, but stopped a while back.

I agree but like you said and what was already mentioned some don't receive any royalties from their work. In my opinion it is expensive but the worth is instantly doubled at least

I think if anybody was able to get the signature of the lead actor say Norton for TIH, RDJ for both Iron Man I & II, Evans for Cap, Hemsworth for Thor and then top em all off with a signature of the big man Stan on all of em, now that would truly be something special. Imagine all of that on the Phase I steelbooks

I think i might start attempting to do something like that because of how cool it would be

I was fortunate to meet Lee and Nimoy a few years back at Emerald City Comicon. Really nice guys, but Lee's handlers try and rush you through. I actually ended up waiting a hour or so before Lee was to sign because it was such a cluster ****. Something to keep in mind, along with Lee not being a spring chicken. He is however a very nice guy and a signing machine. He also seems to have that twinkle in his eye that I'm sure he's always had. Hope you have fun

I had considered taking my Disney Steelbooks to one of the parks and getting the characters to sign their movies.

It's now my mission to my avengers signed by everyone when I get it. I'll have to travel to Cali for the next SDCC to get them but it'd be ****ing awesome to have such a piece

$55? Stan's getting greedy. It was $50 when I got mine signed. It was $50 per signature and there wasn't even a handshake.

WOW! thoroughly jealous lol. His signature though does look a tad odd to me though, but there it is plain as day him signing it in the picture

They don't make money from movie comissions like they would of had they been smarter so charging fans that much gives em extra cash. Easy 1k for a day probably at least but as mentioned, they do free signings here and there

Stan lee doesn't make anything from movie or comic profits anymore. He needs to make money like anyone else.

That's why I'm getting all mine and if anyone want theirs, certified with a COA.

I would get in on this, if the shipping and handling costs of my Marvel steelbooks didn't equal the sum of a small loan!
