I enjoyed the pilot in spite of the first game’s fairly generic post-apocalyptic storytelling.

Watched this late last night and really enjoyed it. I really can't remember the last time I was that glued to my seat while watching something, despite the fact that I knew exactly what was going to happen since I had played the game.

Did you platinum the game ? One of the few multiplayers where you almost had to work as a team or you didn't make it. Absolutely loved it.

I can’t see this not getting a 4K release. If it’s sci-fi/fantasy it’s likely to get one just like Westworld and Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon.

I think Pedro Pascal is excellent. I’m still a little on the fence with Bella Ramsey. She’s a good actress, but I guess I just have to see a few more episodes. The actress that played Sarah had better chemistry with Pedro. But to be fair, Pedro and Bella didn’t share too much screen time so far.

Just hoping I can stick around. I am post apocalyptic and zombied out. Walking Dead seriously ruined my love of zombie content.

Pieter May i ask whats your source is on this great news and who will release the set because its a Sony Produced Show i think HBO is only airing it right or are they also the ones to release it as in HBO/Warner ?

Played both games. Read the prequel comic. Nabbed the art books. I'm a fan of this series.

I just found the leads not up to snuff. Everyone else was terrific. But it's only one episode.

I'm watching the show, but I can tell this is the kind of game I'd really enjoy watching someone play, too! I've never been a big gamer, but I enjoy watching people play long, story-driven ones like this (as a kid, I loved watching my brothers play games like Zelda: A Link to the Past on SNES and the Resident Evil games on Playstation). I'll have to look up some play-throughs on YouTube!

I posted about the episode it in PS5 the game thread.

I really want it to be a UHD like HOTD. But Euphoria which is a huge hit only got DVDs and their original movies only get DVDs. So who knows.
