anyone know what UK blu-rays play in a US ps3? - Blu-ray Forum

I was looking at sendit.com and they have a bunch of blu-rays I would love to own that are not out here in the us. Can any of you guys here confirm if any of the following UK movies are indeed region free and will play in a ps3?????

Transformers 1986(ordered this one already someone confirmed it is region free)

The Island
Next
Hostage
Face Off
The Crow

Transformers 1986 and Face off work on US players and The Crow does not. Anyone know about the rest? I want to order them all at once to save on shipping

im gonna be safe and just go with The Island and Face off for now.

Ill prob order more down the road after more info is out

I have ordered Next and The Crow. It seams Next got lost in the mail. Will do some research and keep this site updated. The Crow has been reported to be region coded but so had Lucky Number Slevin and U-571 from the same distributor. All three titles (The Crow, Lucky Number Slevin and U-571) has region B printed on the cover but I have personally tested Lucky Number Slevin and U-571 and found out that they are in fact region free. Will see how The Crow plays in a region A player. Will post updates on Monday.
