Default Video: Wii experience

Someone posted on YouTube a video showing gameplay of a plane game using the Wiimote:

Although the control looks quite smooth, Nintendo is going to have to create better games than the one shown to capatalise -- which they will, no doubt about that.

Edit: Okay that was actually from E3 this May, anyway, there are more of those videos here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MG201q53b8U&eurl=

One thing I read about the controller though, it all sounds fun and stuff - but think about this; with a regular controller you could play any type of game for quite a while, probably longer than you should!

But with the Wii controller, how long will it be before your arms tire? If you're playing a tennis game how long are you going to be throwing your arms about serving and volleying?

Seriously, it is a big step away from sitting in a comfy chair holding a pad to play a game. Might make you fitter perhaps, but I have a feeling the love affair everyone seems to have with the Wii will wear off once people realise how much physical work they have to do just to play a videogame.

A lot of the Wii games emphasize small, precise movements. The ones with big movements get shown the most because Nintendo is still trying to educate the public on how the system will work. The controller is very sensitive and accurate, so using smaller movements will give you better control.

OK, fair enough, everything I've seen so far makes it look like a work out everytime you play!
