We never received a copy of the film to offer a review (most likely because of the riots), but I will do my best to get one on my own and promote the film so that people are aware that it is back in circulation. What happened to the some of these small companies truly is quite terrible.
The effects of the fire at Sony DADC in the midst of the summer riots were felt by the length and breadth of the entertainment industry in the UK.
One film on our label was affected in particular – The Drummond Will – which was released the week prior to the fire and saw the prospects of the newly promoted film, go up in smoke.
A first time feature film, made with money raised independently by a group of talented up and comers, The Drummond Will is a twisted black British comedy that has been taking festivals around the globe by storm.
Like other small indie labels, regretfully, not all of our titles could be re-manufactured and put back out for general sale. But thankfully, after a lot of hard work and patience on the filmmaker’s part The Drummond Will is again available to buy on DVD and Blu Ray.
