The french Blu-ray include all the special features from the Us disc but add a dvd with 40 minutes of deleted scenes, introduced by Andy Serkis.

But would that DVD of extras be playable on Region A players?

no, the dvd will be in PAL I presume.

Also comes with a film cell, doesn't it, which no other country's edition has been stated as having. Already ordered this even though I've got the UK SB on order too.

Not forced subtitles usually on Fox discs.

Looking at the page I would say it`s 40 mins of added footage (Behind the scenes interviews) rather than deleted scenes especially as it is France only.

the title on the amazon page says: "Inclus 40 min de scènes inédites"

scènes inédites = never before seen scenes.
But I agree, it must be exclusive interviews and making of footage. I don't think it can be new deleted scenes

Shame as i would have bought it too.
The rest of the world has 12 deleted scenes,maybe they add up to 40 mins.

well the additional scenes being "introduced" by Andy Serkis, we could well have 30 mns of introductions and 10 mns of additional scenes

According to the Fnac website, the dvd includes a documentary about the genesis of the movie, nothing to do with deleted scenes like Amazon said.

and Amazon posted some details:

I'm assuming this is the same as the bonus disc in Australia?
