Default What to see in theaters...?

My wife and I got free movies tickets and we area trying to decide what to go see for our weekly date night. Currently the top contenders would be (in this order):

Real Steel
J. Edgar
3 Musketeers

There are thing that appeal about each one. What are your reccomendations between those 3? Feel free to suggest another one as well.

personally, I wouldn't touch 3 Musketeers with a ten foot pole.

J. Edgar has been getting mixed reviews, but I still want to see it myself.

Real Steel surprised me - it aint' great, but it's a fun, feel good movie.

if you want something different I'd recommend Emilo Estevez' The Way which I highly recommend!

30 minutes is still out in the theaters?

MI: Ghost Protocol and S. Holmes: Game of Shadows aren't out til December

I assumed that cvm is talking about seeing a movie either tonight or sometime this weekend.

The one I would be really excited to see at the end of the month is The Artist, but it is getting a fairly limited release and I doubt it wil be playing anywhere in my neck of the woods.
But since it is a specialized film I believe only those who would appreciate such films, would go and not your caual moviegoer, which IMO can only enhance the experience.

There is an incredibly weak lineup of films out in theaters right now. Really for most of the second half of the year. I went from seeing "Cowboys & Aliens" in July, to not seeing anything until "The Thing" last month.

I'd like to see "Real Steel" though. I know it won't be great, but it looks fun and Hugh Jackman is pretty much the most likable guy in Hollywood.

I don't like what I've seen so far of "J. Edgar". Just the look of it bugs me. It almost looks like the whole thing was filmed in front of a green screen or something.

"The Rum Diary" looks like it would be okay. "The Ides of March" is something I'd watch at home, not at a theater. And "Paranormal Activity 3" is one that I'll see (but you'd have to have seen the first two to follow it I imagine).

We do want to see the mission impossible and sherlock, but that will not work fotr date night this weekend. I've not see many reviews for J. Edgar. I know almost nothing about 3 musketeers except it has some steam punk type of stuff. My wife is a fan of steam punk in some cases.

We'll see, more then likely it will be Real Steel at this rate.

Of those choices, J. Edgar. It has been getting mixed reviews, but a Eastwood and DiCaprio teaming is impossible to pass up.

Oh thought this was a thread where the forum member just posts what movies he wishes to see.
