Pirates 1, 2, and 3 BD Boxset - Blu-ray Forum

Hey,
I've reading the forums on blu-ray.com everyday for about a month and decided to become a member. I just got my 80gb ps3 with motorstorm, hooked it up to my onkyo 605 via hdmi, to my 50 in. panny 1080p plasma and am in heaven. But that's all off topic.

What I want to know is, does anyone know or have they heard about a Pirates 1,2,3 boxset? The reason I ask is because I'm filling out the 5 free movies coupon and didn't really like Prestige that much, though i do love the Nolans. Anyways, I'll get Prestige if all the Pirates are coming out in a box set for bluray. THanks.

there will not be a pirates boxset...the first two were released in a rare blu ray slipcover individually, and the same will be done with at world's end...no boxset as of now, but you can get a real good deal on the first two pirates everywhere right now (i think it might be still going, not sure)...so u might wnat to do that and get the prestige as your free movie

Thanks for the link, i just ordered 1 and 2. I think it still counts for this week, but I'm pretty sure blu-ray killed off hd-dvd this week anyways. Money well-spent.

I'm glad to be here. Now I'm waiting with everyone else for this danged war to be over and Blu-ray to reign supreme!!!! okay

Wouldn't it be nice if Best Buy gave those Boxset holders like they did with Kill Bill2 DVD a while back, Free with the purchase of AT Worlds End

There was an article a while back (Home Media Retailing maybe) where a Disney exec. said there would be a box.

Yeah, that was so cool when they did that before... I'm sure 80% of the people who are going to buy the movie have already bought the first two, especially with the BOGO deals that just went down. I mean it would make a lot of sense *ahem* please do it *ahem*

Let's recap plenty of other threads

1- There will be a boxset
2- It's the 3 individual discs in a box, You're better off BOGOing the first 2 right now
