Question Which movie did you like the least?

The 2009 movie year looked like it had some promise. As the year has gone on, it has shown that it is deifinitely no 2008. Maybe it was the writers strike, maybe all the good film makers were on vacation, maybe it was the swine flu but for me I have had a hard time talking myself to going to the theater with so many good 2008 films on Blu.

Which of these films were you least impressed with or felt should have been significantly better?

Saw every major release. I have to say, this is the weakest Summer movie release that I can remember. UP was the only pleasant surprise IMO.

The poll and the thread title are really two different things.

What movie disappointed me the most? Wolverine. After seeing Hugh Jackman jump up and down at Comic Con last summer made me think this movie was going to be spectacular. It was all right. But I made the mistake of seeing it the day after I saw Star Trek, and it clearly didnt measure up to that.

Which movie did I like the least of the choices? Terminator. Thats not to say I didnt like it. It was just ok to me.

I honestly had high hopes for every single one of these. To me, each one was a let down, but the worst of the four was Watchmen. I enjoyed Terminator-Salvation the best, with TROTF at second.

I despise Wolverine , I don't think I've ever had so much hate for a terrible movie.

I had to pick Wolverine. Big let down (Though I will buy it on BD). They had so much potential and it seems like they just blew it. What they did with Deadpool was just a travesty of the first order.

I thouroughly enjoyed Terminator. It was only one of two movies I saw twice this year. The visuals were great, the story was just fine, and I don't think I have seen a movie that played with the surround sound more than this one.

Watchmen...well, it is slowly becoming one of my favorites. As a fan of hte comic, I can't emphasize just how happy I am to see how faithful it was (sans the giant squid). This movie defineitly wasn't a let down.

TF; ROtF was alright (the other of the only two movies I saw twice this year). I'm a huge trans-fanboy, having grown up with the original and fell very comfortable with the direction in which the movie took the lore. I might have been hoping for bit more with this one, but it's a movie about giant fighting robots...what more does it need?

Yep, Wolverine disappointed me the most...(But I'll have to wait until I see G.I. Joe this weekend).

X-Men Origins: Wolverine, since it's the only one I haven't seen.

I've only seen one of those so far, so I cannot comment on that.

The only movie I did not see in theaters was Watchmen, and I wish I did get to see it since it was a very good movie. Wolverine was my favorite one out of the 4, and Terminator was probably the most disappointing one. I can care less for TF2... I just thought the movie was lame, but TF2 did have the best special effects.

I'd rank them as...
1. Wolverine
2. Watchmen
3. Terminator 4
4. Transformers 2

Only saw Transformers and Watchmen so far and Watchmen was clearly better imo. I'll see the other two when they hit Blu. I'm surprised Star Trek wasn't in the poll (loved it).
