Blu-ray has been with us for more than five years, and still we have only three Altman films (MASH, 3 Women and The Player) on Blu-ray. Altman was one of the key directors of the 70's and went on to make other great movies right up to his death.
I hope we will see at least some of the following titles released in 2012: McCabe And Mrs Miller (Warner) The Long Goodbye (MGM) Thieves Like Us (MGM) Nashville (Paramount) Secret Honor (maybe a Blu-ray upgrade from Criterion?) Short Cuts (maybe a Blu-ray upgrade from Criterion?) Gosford Park (Universal) |
