Exclamation LOST SeasonPlay Issues...

Hello all!

I picked up the complete set of Lost, I just started watching it last night on my Samsung BD-C7900, I've got through disc 1 & 2 but with a few issues

When I started out watching this I was using SeasonPlay and about halfway through both discs (episode 3 on disc 1 and episode 6 on disc 2) I would get random freeze ups, I figured it was the firmware so I updated the firmware but the issue was still there! So the next idea I had was trying to watch the episodes giving me problems without SeasonPlay! I watched them without SeasonPlay and they worked flawlessly!

My question is this, has anyone else had issues with seasonplay like this? On any kind of player, be it Sony, Samsung, Ps3, etc..?

Any help would be great!

I watched the complete collection on a PS3 slim using Season Play without any issues at all.

Really? Hmm wonder if I have had 2 bad discs in a row or if its a samsung issue?

Ok so anyone with a Samsung Player tried to use this feature on the Lost blu rays? If so have you had issues?

I had a few bad discs in my complete collection and didn't figure it out till I had the set for over six months. Amazon replaced it for me.

Edit: my friend went through multiple Samsung players (because his HDTV was Samsung) till he determined they are better avoided.

Wow and amazon replaced it? Did you go back through the entire show to make sure you didn't have any bad discs this time around or ?

You know I have yet to have a problem with my samsung player until now, I don't know if I just got lucky or what but it was at the time their top of the line 3d blu ray player, I just need to figure out if its the player or the discs before I go through the trouble of sending this or that back!

I have a samsung BD player... and the LOST complete set. The season play didn't work for me either.
Everything else played fine.

Well,... it's 37 discs or something like that. I had a problem near the end of Season 2 (if I recall correctly) and then a worse problem at some point with Season 3. I checked the replacement set was ok for those spots and then watched on through. (I didn't mix and match or anything.)

I'm glad they were understanding. It would be difficult to get through the whole set in a short time unless... you loved it a lot more than I did or something.

I have a Samsung BD player and I've had nothing BUT playback problems with it. It crashes frequently and the sound cuts out on nearly every DVD/BD I play on it.

I bought it to match my TV, I don't think I'd make that mistake again....

Yea I did the same thing, but this ordeal with 'LOST' and its 'Seasonplay' mode has been the first major playback issue I've had, the only other playback issues I've had were bad discs

Just play the episodes. Don't select season play from the menu.

I wish all TV sets had Season play. I always forget where I left off if it's been more than a few days since I watched last.

I bought the complete collection a few months ago, but somehow I lost the season 3 booklet with all the season 3 discs inside. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? I don't simply need season 3. I need season 3 from the complete collection. I really don't wanna spend nearly 200 dollars to replace the whole box set.
