does anyone buy used Blu-rays ?

I hate that too, that is why I only get them from people here, everyone I have dealt with is right up front on condition, and most are perfect, almost new\mint, I am pretty sure most members here take good care of their BD's.

I own about 14 or so that I've bought from blockbuster.co.uk and all i had to do was to change the cases they came in, now they look new.

I occasionally buy used from Moviestop. I've never had problems with scratched discs or broken cases. I've gotten some good deals on used Blus there.

I bought most of my blu's from amazon and I can say that from all the sellers I buy from, the disc are mint brand new condition. I never see scratches on them but of course the only thing is the cases and worn out either a bit or sometimes a little worse but all I gotta do is new cases and call it a day....I'm a blu-ray buyer on a budget!

I have bought a few blus used and they have worked so good. I usually buy some of CL. I actually got 40 blus for 80 dollars that were worth it.

Most if not all of my Blu-rays were new. I try to avoid getting pre-owned Blu-rays, DVDs, CDs, etc. whenever possible. I will only consider it if it's a title that is OOP or just too hard to find a new copy.

It's not because of worrying about the condition of the disc is in for being pre-owned and not even because of cheaper prices, but more like me wanting to support the company who helped make the Blu-ray as well as the movie itself possible for titles I enjoy. Buying it pre-owned does not do that for me.

It also just feels better when you have a new copy.

Purchased about 50 BLUs from Blockbuster during their 5/$20 sales, and haven't had a single problem. Every disc is pristine and after you replace it with blu-ray case, no one is the wiser. Not going to berate people for not buying used, but for me it's been awesome, as I've been able to upgrade lots of blu rays that I would have waited on otherwise.

I have no problems buying used or new. As long as the disc works and there's hardly any major damage on the case, I'm good.

A lot of my blu's come from Blockbusters $5 for 20 sale.

All the time. eBay has saved me thousands of dollars over the years on DVDs and BDs.

I don't buy anything used. If I found something I wanted second hand I still skip it, I just don't consider it mine if I didn't buy it new and open it myself.
