I'd love to see "Mary Poppins" released on Blu-Ray; its one of my fave live-action films Disney's ever done. "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" would be cool as well, but I highly doubt "Song of the South" will ever be released in its entirety. The execs are too afraid of "offending" the black community.

Popeye and Dragonslayer are "officially" Paramount releases (look up their DVD's if you don't believe me), and it's highly unlikely that Disney would suddenly Blu-upgrade "Shipwrecked" and "Tall Tale" mere months after their being released from Club Exclusive exile (the equivalent of Warner Archive obscurity). ...Anything else? (And by that, we mean "No, please".) ![]() |

Interesting is Hattie McDaniel is playing in both movies. That's one reason to get this movie on blu-ray. It's a child movie yes, and it would be good, when parents would talking about with their children today about the past time. Also interesting (for me) its the technical aspect when Disney combinate live action with animation. Another reason to get this movie: Bobby Driscoll!! |

![]() Oh, I forgot. Didn't Disney produce the movie "Condorman" ? I loved that flick.. I'll admit the quality did jump drastically from VHS to DVD, but to really have them remastered on Blu-ray would be a treat! Last edited by Waszak1977; 11-23-2011 at 08:38 PM. |
