New Year's Dinner and Appz??? - Blu-ray Forum

Following the trends....whats everyone having for New Year's Eve tonight for dinner and appetizers? Any traditions?

We sort of had a family tradition growing up that i brought back last year. Will be having Cheese Fondu tonight!! yum yumyum...love that stuff...other appz wil be...

Smoked Salmon crostini's...with sour cream dill sauce for on top as well as cream cheese if people prefer that.....this is also a new tradition as i get smoke salmon over-nighted from our partner company in Norway...fresh and delicious!

Chili Cheese Dip
Buffalo Chicken Dip
Jalapeno Poppers
Mozzarella Sticks
Shrimp Cocktail
Pigs in a Blanket

and chocolate fondu for dessert! of course with champagne and drinks mixed in

no tradition over here since i'm vietnamese. our new year is not on the 1st

anyway, my dad got some prime ribs so i'll be roasting that in the morning with some montreal steak spice and i'm guessing potatoes or maybe some greens

went a bit simple this year, no big sit down meal. I made a nice ham and sliced it and made sandwiches, a few salads, some potatoes, chips, popcorn..... So we were eating all night.

my usual new year's day dinner:

there was also some turnip greens, but i don't eat that stuff.

We made up a pot of black eyed peas & some corn bread for New Year's day. Hopefully we will see some prosperity this year.
