United Kingdom A Bug's Life UK

So we all know that this is coming out on May 19th over in the States (those lucky Yanks!), but when do we get it over here in the little UK?

I really want this film on Blu-ray. It's one of my favourite Pixar films. I don't understand why people always say it's one of their least favourite.

Amazon UK is only listing the US import and HMV and Play.com aren't showing it in their search results.

I know Amazon UK says Monsters Inc. is coming out on July 27th - excited!

As Ken Brown has noted, this is a Region-Free title, why not order directly from Amazon-US?

Typically, I could offer plenty of assistance going the opposite way Europe - US. Perhaps someone else could assist you, but I would think that as far as reliability is concerned, Amazon should be at the very top of the list.

I think I'm going to go with Amazon, but I'm gonna wait until the price is released on Amazon UK so I don't end up paying an excessive amount.

I have bad experiences with Amazon.com. Firstly it takes a month for the movie to arrive, depending on the exchange rate you'll be hit by taxes and import duty. You know you can only spend £18 without getting charged right? The price on amazon currently is $28 without shipping. Thats way over the £18 limit. Its going to cost you in the region of £25-£30 for that blu from amazon because they ALWAYS put the price on the outside of the package for customs.

Playusa.com is £17.99 SHIPPED. Meaning thats all you pay. I already got mine pre-ordered.

There's only one place to go for US imports in my opinion - Movietyme.com. Although Bug's Life is a little bit more expensive than usual on their site but you would have the disc in your hand within 3 days.

Is that 3 days plus a huge customs bill? I've heard about movietyme before but I don't know if you get charged customs or not. I would much rather have a cheaper disc than a faster one.

I've used Movietyme loads before and have never been charged customs or anything just what i pay for the disc. As someone else mentioned axelmusic are another good site to import from, never been charged extras from them either

I use playusa alot and the best bit is this title is £17.99 so it will be shipped from within the UK so no customs fees. Only if it is above that price you will get hit.

All my playusa titles get shipped with class 2 royalmail stamp on it and a return address in the UK if the product is faulty or wrong.

In my opinion, it goes without saying that Amazon.UK is the best one (and yes, I actually ordered stuff from them while I was in London).

So I think I'm going to buy with Playusa.com

Is £17.99 the actual price shown and there won't be any charges on top of that price? The last thing I want is to receive a hefty bill for customs charges or anything.

Is there anyone who would genuinely recommend Playusa over other retailers for imports?

As in my previous post I use playusa alot for US region free blu-rays. All blu-rays at £17.99 and below are shipped from play in the UK and not the canada. When below £18 (17.99 and below) that is all you will pay from playusa and no extra charges.

I never had a blu-ray with US postal markings before for orders under £18 and all my packets have had play.com with royal mail second class lables and UK packaging and a UK return address on it and it will arrive within the usual 3 to 5 days.

The only time you need to worry is when you order something over £18 then playusa will ship from canada and you will be charged VAT and royal mail charge.

In agreement with stargazeruk regarding playusa.

Received North American version of Pitch black + Riddick pack for 17.99 ($27) to U.K in just 5 days.
