Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy $1 @ Dollar Tree - Blu-ray Forum

I was at my local Dollar Tree earlier today and noticed that they had quite a few copies of Chinese Democracy there. I know it isn't the greatest G N' R album, but it is definately worth $1, IMO. If I didn't have it already, I would've bought it.

Saw this. I had a copy. Couldn't make myself buy a replacement...even for a buck.

I picked up a used copy a few years ago for $4. I didn't have high expectations but I liked it after several listens.

It's not a bad record... It's just not Guns N' Roses.

yeah, it probably should have just been an Axel Rose solo album.

Listening to Live Era right now... From '87-'93 you'd be hard pressed to find a better band.

The album is indeed pretty good, and deserved a better fate than it got. There are even a couple moments of excellence: "Better" and "There Was a Time" especially sound like the "GN'R sound of the future" that Axl seemed to be going for.

Yeah I didn't think it was bad. Can't match the old bands efforts but it still wasn't horrible. I liked quite a few songs on there... The new band isn't that bad. I saw them twice and had a great time both times.
