Hello,
I am confused about how I should have my Samsung BDP-1400 setup, please help. What is the difference between "PCM" and "Bitrate" ? Which is better sounding? My current home theatre consists of a Yamaha RXV1700, Polk Audio Towers, Center, Rear Surrounds, and Surrounds along with a subwoofer, and a Panasonic 50" Plasma. I have the audio connected from the bluray to the yamaha via an optical cable and the video is HDMI to the receiver. The Yamaha does all my HDMI switching so that the TV remains on one input. I currently have bitrate selected in the setup menu of the samsung bluray player.... Please advise. Thanks, John |
