Default Moving a plasma

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've been thinking about if I move how I will transport my tv. When I bought it at Circuit City the guy said that plasmas have to be upright or you will get red dots on the screen or something. Anyone else know any things I should know before I move?

Once you keep it covered with a blanket or somthing soft and keep it standing up during the moving process...you should be ok...the original box it came in would be good if you kept it...

I dont know about plasmas, but in the manual that came with my LCD it says you can transport them standing up OR face down only, any other way will damage the tv.

Be careful with face down, we've had several instances where plasma screens were accidently placed face down and the glass came off.

Best way is to transport them is upright, in their original packaging if you still have them as the packaging is designed to hold the screen at all the right places and provide the right buffers.
