I picked this up a couple of weeks ago & have been able to play most of it. While the disc doesn't possess the best picture & sound quality that is out there it is looks & sounds very good.
It's a Richard Thompson show so there is not much in the way of a stage show. The setlist is decent with the first half of the show coming solely from his latest Dream Attic album. The list of songs I wish were played is huge but with a catalog like his that is to be expected. As always, Richard's guitar playing is fantastic. For any fan of the guitar it is worth picking this up just to witness the 5 minute + solo on "Can't Win". Unbelievable. There are two bonus acoustic performaces added from a separate show that are very good as well. Last edited by rltilley; 02-17-2012 at 09:22 PM. |
