PQ and SQ of Nine Inch Nails Live: Beside You in Time is one of those you have to see and hear to believe. Even if your not a fan of them, it's hard not to look and listen in awe.

Separately? Troy's PQ is incredible. Pearl Harbor, while a 'pleh' film, has excellent SQ.

Yes, Troy's PQ has been seriously overrated. The movie was too long to give a high bitrate encoding for HD DVD and since Warner ports the encode to BR, you're basically watching an HD DVD movie.

I think Crank probably has the sharpest picture of a non cgi title. Kingdom of Heaven is another title where there was a lot of sharp scenes.

I watched the Patriot this weekend and would have to say its one of the best I've seen in regards to picture quality.
