PS3 and changing TVs - Blu-ray Forum

Does the PS3 keep TVs in memory? I mean I went from my 32 inch Hitachi to 20 inch or so insiginia a few years ago and put the Hitachi in storage. I get it out finally to use it after several years and it works right up without having to reset the resolution like I did when I went to the insiginia.

anyways glad to be gaming on this TV. smaller was ok for awhile but I can see more clearly.

Yes, there is a small cache for digital displays if you connect for HDMI.
