Got Michael Clayton & In the Valley of Elah on Blu-ray today

Got two new Warner Blu-ray movies today. Michael Clayton and In the Valley of Elah. Really hope they have improved their PQ since their last few releases. I will post back with short reviews later tonight or early tomorrow. Need to finish wataching Damages on Blu-ray which got me hooked

Also got American Gangster on DVD.. Hope they release it on Blu-ray some day

Probably from pacific. I got Run Lola Run already from them and it has the same release date as Clayton and Elah.

Just to warn you guys, Valley of Elah had a lot of noise added during the digital intermediate process. The grain will be crawling like it was in 300. so be prepared!!!

Thanks! Will rent this one now instead of buy. I cant stand 300.

I order them from a Scandinavian company. They import the titles from US but only ship them within Scandinavia. They send out the titles as soon as they get them which means I get all tiles about 10 days early

Just finished watching Damages on Blu so I will jump right over these new movies.

Well if it's preserve the director intent and theatrical verison i don't care. The day they'll do DNR on everything.. i sell all my title and will stick to cinema..

I could have sworn that WB has already publicly stated that going forward all of their releases will contain lossless audio tracks. I guess Michael Clayton proves that to be somewhat of a lie.

I beleive the digital bits recently posted that Warner will be moving to lossless on all titles, but I'm sure the specs for MC were nailed down months ago.

How is the movie anyway? The lossy audio and apparent 20GB size have made it a definite no purchase for me at this point, but I was thinking of renting it.

Michael Clayton is one confusing movie. I had no clue what the hell was going on most of the movie...

Anyways, have you seen American Gangster yet? I plan on getting the 3-disc edition next Tuesday.

Yep, they intentionally put grain in it in post, plus it was shot on Super 35.

Grain-fest CONFIRMED.
