So I own 3 PS3s and I play games on all of them, syncing saved data to PS+ cloud storage and moving it around depending on the room I'm playing in (and who is using what TV). Fast forward to today and I try to download something in one room that I downloaded in another...
I get a 2 systems maximum message. So then I call Sony, they changed it from 5 systems to 2...which is RIDICULOUS. Sure, not everyone owns multiple PS3s, but is this their way to combat piracy? They also punish people who play and own multiple systems? This is a HORRIBLE way for digital content to be distributed and I will NEVER buy a game through PSN if it is also offered on digital medium, even if it is $40 vs $60. Shame on you, Sony. And shame on you for sneakily putting this in on an arbitrary date. For those that don't know, anything you download after November 18th, including DLC for a game you may have legitimate purchased and played on three different systems that arelegitimately linked to your PSN account, you can only have that DLC on two systems. I am so incredibly pissed off right now. This is how Sony treats customers of their PlayStation family for over 16 years? Because of this incident, I will no longer be purchasing a Vita and its one-account only lock. |
