Game of the Year 2011 Thread

WHat are your top game choices for 2011.

Mine are:
1. Batman: Arkham City
2. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
3. Skyrim
4. Uncharted 3
5. Resistance 3
6. Crysis 2
7. Assassins Creed Revelations
8. Infamous 2
9. Rage
10. Alice Madness Returns
11. Gears of War 3
12. LA Noire

I am leaving something big off that list, I just know it. Overall this is a very solid list of games IMO 2011 was one of the best ever.

I didn't play Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3 or Dark Souls. I have yet to play Skyward Sword and I imagine that could make my list.

I chose Arkham City as my GotY because it ended up being EVERYTHING I wanted in a sequel and more. It wasn't as long a game as Skyrim, but it had a ton of content and combat challenges really add a lot of value to the game overtime.

Deus Ex Human Revolution gets my 2nd nod because it was a game that I only had medium expoectations for and it ended up FAR surpassing them.

Skyrim could have been higher, but I felt that it had too many bugs and WAYYYYY too many loading screens. I also didn't like the way leveling up was done.

Uncharted 3 was everything I expected, but nothing more. That is not a bad thing, but I do feel that the game became a retread of UC2 at the end of the game.
