Default I guess my player hates 20th century Fox now...

Strange problem:

My player pretty much died recently. I was able to get it working again by doing what this guy does in this video:

NOW, the weird thing is this: It will play any disc I put in it, with an exception. ANY 20th Century Fox disc gets an error message and an eject. Weird,

You most likely need the latest firmware update for your Blu-ray player so that it will play 20th Century Fox Blu-ray titles and other new releases. 20th Century Fox Blu-ray titles have the latest BD+ encryption located on the Blu-ray discs that makes it impossible or much harder for pirates to copy 20th Century Fox titles with a Blu-ray computer recorder and special third party software. The latest firmware update to your Blu-ray player will install the latest encryption keys that will allow one to play 20th Century Fox titles and other new releases. Now some brands of Blu-ray players do a poor job with keeping up with firmware updates. If you have already installed the latest firmware update and still having problems you will need to complain to the manufactory of your Blu-ray player. Companies like Panasonic, Sony, and OPPO have an excellent history of providing reliable timely firmware updates. Some other brands have a poor record of offering quality timely firmware updates.

If you were able to play the exact same 20th Century Fox titles before the repair and now you are not then it most likely means the potentiometer or lens is slightly out of align and not reading the BD+ keys correctly.
