Default What do you think of this?

I have to say if BTTF ever sees the light of day on HD-DVD over here I will have to turn neutral. It is the one and only title that would make me shift.

Your thoughts?

Maybe this is a slide of movies they wish they had!

I would believe this more if it were for the US market since Japan is over 90% BR. Lets not forget the apology given to Spielberg after they listed some of these titles as coming soon. So who knows what this is all about.

I'll wait.
BR isn't going anywhere and even in 18 months time they cannot ignore all the installed PS3 and BR players.

All Steven Spielberg titles are under his control so if he chooses to release them to Blu than we'll all be winning. He is a supporter of Blu as well all know so I would take this with a grain of salt.

Yeah this photo & articles mentioning it have spawned multiple threads the past few days, all of which have gotten closed down. Can't remember who, but one forum regular actually attended the HD-DVD presentation in Japan where they teased the Spielberg titles; translated, the sense was more "these are titles we'd like to bring out" than "these are titles coming soon"...

Japan is already 9:1 BD and it's Spielberg's format of choice. FUD isn't necessary.

I have seen those movies so many times, I don't really care to see them again. I own them on dvd, which is good enough, if I feel I have to see them. Of course I don't know how I will live without Babe or Casper.... I would like to see a remastered Jurassic Park, but I can wait till BR wins to see it.

Um, there have been numerous threads started about this.

The thread is locked, because the information being shown was up during last year's show.

As long as they're released on BD, I don't care if they're also coming to HD.

BD will outsell them 2:1.

In Europe, the player share of HD DVD 70%, 75% of the European contents holders sells HD DVD title, 30 [repuriketa]/introducing that among other things the authoring house has supported. Concerning share, “it is also that share what % with says at the highest in 100,000 and 200,000 to think as nonsense
Really ?

Quote:
In addition, attaching rate (the title purchase quantity per one of players) you say that 8 times that Blu-ray and it has exceeded substantially. Concerning PLASTATION 3, “honest I love PS3. Work was done together from SONY and semiconductor age. It is the nice game machine, but but, as we imagine, the game fan and the cinemaddict are different. (The PS3 user) only 1/10 of our players buys the disk”, that you commented.
so each ps3 only buy 1/10 of a disc ?
wow, their attached rate improve by the days.

In addition, because “(Hitachi has sold the BD cam but) as for Toshiba is HDD concerning the correspondence to the video camera, it keeps tackling the record of [haideihuinishiyon] with HDD. I would like to go at HDD one”, that it did.
they don't even want to use hd-dvd for camcorder (or maybe not possible) but want to use hard disk ? what the use for recording on hdd if they cannot be shared and viewed on their hd-dvd player ?
