Default Bourne 4-Who Will Play Jason Bourne

if Matt Damon couldn't?

After just recently watching the Bourne Identity and the Bourne Ultimatum recently I was wondering who would make a good Jason Bourne? And I don't dislike Matt Damon's portrayal, I think he nails it. But just curious to what others may think?

How about Brad Pitt? Has he ever been a movie where he kicked some ass? Johnny Depp maybe? Hmmm.

Neither of those too. If anyone, I would say Bale. Pitt I can see replacing Cruise on Mission: Impossible

Thanks for the response. I guess I was just going by looks

But I can see Bale. Not a big fan of his. His speech in the Dark Knight put me to sleep. I guess since Bourne doesn't do much talking it could work.

Bale will soon become the leading man in all Hollywood franchises.

matt damon already agreed to play in the movie didn't he? i thought i remember reading somewhere that although he hates the bourne movies, he couldn't say no to them after they offered him $$$$$ to put towards his movie projects????

honestly i cannot see anyone else playing bourne. If i was crazy one night and did not read what i put above then they should leave the bourne franchise alone imho

Chris O'Donnell's about due for a comeback, no?

Seriously they better fork over the cash to Damon, otherwise don't bother, the last one was wrapped up just fine anyways.

Hey whatever happened to that dude? Its like he just fell off the face of the earth.

I was just watching that movie School Ties that had him, Damon, Affleck, Brendan Fraser in it when they were really young. I thought he would still be working.

yeah he did. just a hypothetical. But there have been several different Bonds and even more Batmans. Those franchises have worked.

If I had my way I think the Bourne franchise should end at the trilogy. It ended the way it started, with him in the water. I hear that 4 will be a whole new storyline unrelated from the previous 3. Hope they don't jump the shark and ruin it.

yeah number 4 is not going to be based off of one of the novels, so they will be making their own plot etc...sounds like a recipe for a big pot of screw up!

For the record, parts 2 and 3 were not based on the novels either. They were completely original stories that simply used the titles of the sequel novels. Only the first one bared any resemblence to the novel, and even that was just barely.

Come on. Bale can't be everyone. If Bale was in absolutely everything then it would just be impossible to take him seriously.

Anyways. Don't know if there's a script already made or not but if not then they can make him older. Any older actor's that would do good? Liam Neeson, Viggo, ???
