it was only 83.69 for the 5 disk set when i preordered it last month.
FYI, they have been shipping out orders trying to catch back up, so i think they would be caught up by the end of oct. |

Maybe when the "web guys" get back into work on Monday they can fix it. I noticed they went up on the site on Saturday as well.

I didn't see Order of the Phoenix yet up on the site as an individual...?
Also, are any of the discount codes still working? -John |

I suppose that makes sense on the pre-order blackout, as they'd prefer people to buy the larger box set vs. the individuals. So they hold off on #5 until the box-set types are tapped out. Personally, I would have bought the box set if it included slots for #s 6 & 7 down the road, but...it didn't. When I bought the Last Exile box set it was a progressive release, so you got the box and first DVD, then as the others came in you had a place to put them. Pretty smart, IMHO. Too bad they couldn't do something like that. -John |

I was going to get the box set, but I want the BD packaging over the awkward, inconsistent packaging that will be inevitable with the set. I haven't seen OOTP, and I really want to, so I'll be picking it up at midnight at Wal Mart and watching it promptly afterward.

Same here. I had the box set preorder, but then i thought the same thing you did. At first I told myself I didnt care, but after a while it started to nag at me. I would rather have all 7 movies in properly with the rest of my collection. |

I'm posting the following (a copy of a post I made at another forum) as a service to make it easy for anyone interested in looking for the above prices:
Four of the individual Harry Potter movies are now available for pre-order at the Warner's site. Using a coupon code you can order each one for $17.21. While at the site, see if there are other Warners or New Line videos you want to buy or pre-order and get 44% - 48% off MSRP using the special "coupon code". If your total order is over $50 you'll get free shipping. CTBM is the "coupon code" that you can use to get 44% - 48% off the MSRP price. This code will work only for orders placed through October 31th. These low prices are the best I've found for Warners and New Line videos. Because of a systems redesign, Warners has been backed up on filling its online orders but, based upon recent deliveries, they are beginning to get a handle on their problems. I was pleasantly surprised to get a large Warners shipment via UPS today. You won't see the final reduced prices until you click on "add to cart" and/or "pre order" and add the coupon code there. Once Warner is caught up completely they should be back to their usual delivery times. I've posted a direct link to the list of available items (the Harry Potter movies are on page 3). http://whv.warnerbros.com/WHVPORTAL/...atType=Blu-ray Like Amazon, Warners doesn't charge your credit card for an item until that item ships. And, based upon my experience last week and today, they don't hold up items in an order because other items are not yet available for release or because one or more of your items are pre-orders (such as the Harry Potter videos for release on 12/11/2007). |
