Default Thrawn Trilogy

I started another thread called "The Force is No Longer with Uncle George" and having read some of the responses which are mixed oficourse, one member brought up After the 3D films are re-issued Lucas will go back and make Episodes VII-IX. That one will always be open to debate. So I ask, if in fact the live action movies did come back and Uncle George allowed another writer and director to helm each installment, who would be your pick for the sequel trilogy.

Episode VII - Heir to the Empire - Directed by JJ Abrams
Episode VIII - Dark Force Rising - Directed by Guillermo del Toro
Episode IX - The Last Command - Directed by Steven Spielberg

Episode VII -

since Abrams breathed new life into Star Trek, why not Star Wars. It's been proved you don't have to have the the 'geek' knowledge to make it work, just the ability to have strong characters and a good amount of sci-fi action.

Episode VIII -

Del Toro simple choice because of his fine attention to detail, not to mention this is the "Empire Strikes Back" version of this story. Dark and lots of suspense. Plus he would have a strong blueprint from Abrams Episode to build from.

Episode IX -

I've always wondered what a SW film would be like if Speilberg was to direct. He's not known for script writting, but his direction is in a league all to his own. He would be the icing on the cake to a fine Sequel Trilogy.

Casting:

Mark Hamill has aged into his Obi-Wan Jedi status therefore justifies his return.

Carrie Fisher, not as young as she used to be, but with some hard work and lipo, could easliy play the older wiser Lea.

Harrison Ford, He would be the hardest one to convince. Even with wads of money waived in his face. But there's no denying how cool it would be to see Han Solo shoot first and ask questions later.
